The Leyland Roadrunner was the last model of British Leyland Motor Corporation in 1984 based on the T45 Project . The 7.5-tonner was developed as a competitor to the Ford Cargo and replaced the Leyland Super G which was based in principle on a construction from the 1960s. Following the merger of Leyland Motors and DAF (Automobiles) into Leyland DAF , DAF's Leyland Roadrunner was marketed as DAF 600/800/1000 in continental Europe . After a revision, the model was from 1991 asLeyland DAF 45 is marketed in the Commonwealth of Nations countries and export markets outside Europe and in continental Europe as DAF 45 . In 1993 Paccar became the new owner of Leyland DAF. By cleansing the model program, the model was revised and expanded again, in 1994 replaced by the Leyland DAF and DAF 45/55 .CALL US AT: 0800 002 9120 eMAIL US
